Was browsing through my old art this evening and came across this one. It's an oldie and I like to think my skills on refinement have improved, but I still really like that dragon design. He looks so.....happy. I remember slaving on him into the wee hours of a summer morning, I don't think I have ever partaken in the brilliant idea of 3 sets of wings on one image since.... Thought I would shove him up for others to enjoy.

very beautiful!! and you're right...he does look very happy!! I love how all of your creatures look so right just floating in nothingness :D oh and I love how he's holding the orb with both his front foot and back foot...very nice!!

Absolutely gorgous, the sense of motion and and the lighting are perfect. I've always loved your use of colour in you work to offset darker or lighter backgrounds. ^^
